A dry northeast monsoon affected the coast of Guangdong yesterday. Locally, the weather was mainly fine and dry. It was slightly cooler with temperatures over the territory generally fell to 23 degrees or below in the morning. The relative humidity over most parts of the territory stayed at about 50 per cent in the afternoon. Under the influence of the dry northeast monsoon, the weather is expected to be mainly fine and windier over the coast of Guangdong today.
Mainly fine and dry. Cloudy periods at first. Slightly cooler in the morning with a minimum temperature of about 24 degrees in the urban areas, and a couple of degrees lower in the New Territories. The maximum temperature will be around 29 degrees during the day. Moderate to fresh east to northeasterly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground at first .
The weather will be persistently fine and dry with temperatures rising for the rest of this week to midweek next week. The temperature difference between day and night will be relatively large over inland areas.
